EVALUATION OF THE REASONS FOR EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT APPLICATION IN PATIENTS WITH PERITONEAL DIALYSIS

ABSTRACT Background: Severe acute problems, which are related to different systems, could be reasons for applying the emergency department in patients with peritoneal dialysis. In this study, aim was evaluate and treatment of applications these after office hours. Methods: This study included followed up CAPD patients, who applied Emergency Department between January 2017 May 2020 at our University. Demographical, biochemical, clinical data, such as, renal, peritoneal, weekly Kt/V, normalized protein catabolic rate (nPCR), UF, GFR were recorded from outpatient’s data. addition, application services hospitalization evaluated.
